Le Spa (The Learning Environment Spa) is an opportunity provided to students of ACAA to practice their skills as they develop competency in units throughout their study.
This qualification reflects the role of the individuals who take the first line of management in a wide range of organisational and industry contexts. They may have existing qualifications and technical skills in any given vocation or profession, yet require skills or recognition in supervisory functions. Typically, they would report to a manager.
At this level frontline managers provide leadership and guidance to others and take responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of the team and its work outcomes. Possible job roles include: coordinator, leading hand, supervisor, team leader.
This course is offered full time, part time, distance education or by blended delivery.
To achieve this qualification you must successfully complete 10 units of competency comprising 1 core and 9 elective units chosen by the college. This course also contains mandatory work placement to ensure that the theory is supported by real world experiences.
