This course is designed for employees who perform duties such as:

  • completing Business Activity Statements and other office taxes
  • operational reporting
  • producing of basic management reports
  • producing basic job costing reports
  • preparing budgets
  • supervising the operation of computer-based systems
  • classifying, recording and reporting of accounting information
  • maintaining inventory records
  • managing a small office
  • making decisions in a legal context
This course is designed for students who are interested in wokring as an Assistant Accountant or an accoutns officer.
This course is offered full time, part time, distance education, blended delivery or VET in Schools Programs.
To achieve this qualification you must successfully complete all 13 units of competency comprising 4 industry core units, 6 sectoral core units and 3 electives chosen by the college.
