DIPLOMA OF ACCOUNTING
This course is designed for employees working in accounting who perform duties such as: introducing and maintaining accounting systems; maintaining internal control systems; preparing financial statemennts for a reporting entity; preparing tax returns; reporting on business performance; managing small teams; developing business plans and preparing management accouting reprots.
This course is designed to suit students who wish to be employed as an Assistant Accountant, Office Manager, Administration Manager or Budget Officers.
This course is offered full time, part time, distance education or blended delivery.
To achieve this qualification you must successfully complete all 17 units of competency comprising 4 industry core units, 5 pre-requisite units, 5 sectoral core units and 3 elective units chosen by the college.
